Aurora
Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is a May 2015 release by Decca Records. It has been praised by the blogs and the press. She has previously released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by the band Oasis to promote a Christmas ad by John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry, who endorsed the song Runaway with her voice, also gave her the track a little more attention. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard within her loft and being intrigued by its sounds. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes urged Aurora to pursue music, not as work or for a passion and as a way to develop. She began to write her own compositions. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan for inspiration, as well as a love for Bjork's style. When her mother told her that the songs she wrote were not meant to be famous for her, rather to help individuals to recognize the value of themselves and their impact in this world, she began singing them in public. The piano was her first instrument at age six and creating music when she was nine. It was not until she turned 14 that she told her parents. Aurora was not a dream of her childhood. The only thing she loves is to compose music. For her, the music she composes is her way of feeling any thing.
