Anna Silk

Anna Silk was born in the month of January in 1974. Her most well-known role is Bo in the Showcase's Lost Girl television series. Silk was a native of Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is director of drama and producer of drama and production at St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Silk's father Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers watching her mother at work and attending the rehearsals for her plays. Silk played a role as a young girl in commercials. Silk completed her studies at St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in the year 1999 to Los Angeles within the decade that followed 1999. She met her new spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an actor's training held in Los Angeles in 2007. They got married the year 2009 and wed in a civil ceremony in December of the same year. In Fredericton on the 10th of April in 2011they renewed their vows after her conversion to Judaism. Silk Cooperman gave birth to her first son Samuel Jerome Cooperman May 2013 Levi Aaron, her second son was born on 13 May 2016. Silk's TV work has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. She was given the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk became pregnant during production of the season three finale. She announced the news to viewers in the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk is involved in the production of Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was first conceived on the 6th of January, 2013 on Twitter, announced her readiness to return on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on fourth season. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the couple with the same name in Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples of all time. E! Magazine declared that they were the top TV Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is the result, and its growing popularity on social networks has earned it a large internet following.
